Dave Winer has transferred ownership of the RSS 2.0 Specification to Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School and set up an advisory board to oversee it.
There is a debate going on at Dan Gilmour's site about whether this is a positive move or not and whether the advisory board is really independent or not. Make up your own minds.
