After copying an installation of Java 1.4.1 onto my Windows XP laptop from one of my other machines rather than going through the hassle of installing it properly, I find that I get a quite spectacular Blue-Screen-of-Death (BSOD) whenever I start a Java application like the Oxygen XML Editor!
No doubt half the world will blame Microsoft, and the other half will blame Sun!
Personally, I'm not going to take sides (yet!) - I'll just re-install the Java SDK.
