More evidence of just how real and all pervasive Web Services have now become - The results of this weeks Swedish Euro Referendum were delivered in real time using XML Web Services.
Having played a small part in helping to organize this while I worked for Cape Clear, I think it's a very good example of a real world use for Web Services technology.
You really can tell that Web Services are going truly mainstream when a country entrusts it's whole democratic process to the technology, can't you?
Now all we have to do is get California to use Web Services, rather than their current flawed system! Are you listening, Arnie??
