The Middleware Company (TMC) has launched TheServerSide.NET, an enterprise architecture and development community for .NET
This parallels TheServerSide.com (TSS), which is TMC's long standing portal for enterprise Java developers, and which I used to follow closely in my past lives.
No doubt the name will rapidly be referred to as just TSS.NET based on experiences with TSS(.com).
TSS.NET has 3 stated goals:
Given that many enterprise developers have to deal with both .NET and J2EE environments, item #2 is a real challenge for many architects and developers. Web Services and the WS-* specs will ease the burden here of course.
The discussion forums will no doubt be quite lively too, as they always were on TSS.
Things kick off with an interview about all things Indigo with Don Box, which is always goodness!
