We are just working our way through the post-workshop follow up actions after the Web Services transaction workshop last week on the WS-Coordination, WS-AtomicTransaction and WS-BusinessActivity specifications.
As organizers, we rescheduled from the original planned date due to an unforseen clash with a meeting of the WS-CAF working group at OASIS, in order to make sure as many people as possible could attend and provide their input.
Unlike Werner, I think we got some great feedback from the meeting, with some more promised on the discussion list too. The minutes and presentations will be published shortly to the same discussion list.
In some ways, I think Werner's comments ultimately point to the fact that transaction technology has been widely used for a fairly long time now, so a lot of that boring knowledge is already baked in to the WS Transaction specs from the start.
