I installed the Beta release of the anti spyware offering from Microsoft last week on all my home machines, and it has already pointed out one high risk spyware program and another medium risk which my eldest son kindly installed without my knowledge. It did a great job of removing the offending installs and cleaning everything up nicely. Just like everyone needs an anti-virus product installed, I think we are now at the point where an anti-spyware product is now becoming a requirement across the board too.
