W3C has today announced that WS-Addressing has achieved Candidate Recommendation status.
2005-08-17: The Web Services Addressing Working Group published Candidate Recommendations of Web Services Addressing 1.0 - Core and Web Services Addressing 1.0 - SOAP Binding. The feedback is encouraged by 1 November 2005.
This is a very significant step forward in the W3C standardization process, and basically means that the WS-Addressing WG is still on target to produce a final Recommendation spec in early 2006.
