Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year.
2005 was the Year of the Rooster.
2006 is the Year of the Dog.

I didn't realise this until now, but although we were born in different years in the Gregorian calendar, both my wife and I were born in the Lunar Year of the Dragon.

So does that mean you're compatible with your wife? I was reading a Chinese horoscope yesterday and it said that I was incompatible with my wife, but her's had the opposite! Posted by: Mark Little on January 30, 2006 09:15 AM
Happy Chinese New Year :) an overdue well-wishing to you and your wife from china :) Chinese New Year is also named Spring Festival, which will lasts 15 days. All family members return home, bless and enjoy each other. It is the most important day in China. BTW: In Chinese custom, the children born in Year of the Dragon are very lucky, and their parents are very happy and proud, for the Dragon in Chinese legends represents justice, brave and strong. :) Welcome to China :) Posted by: wei shi on February 16, 2006 05:47 AM
