This video shows the scary winter road contitions we've been suffering with in the Pacific North West for the last week.
Although this video is from Portland, but we've had similar conditions in Seattle / Redmond.
Last week it took about 1 hour for many folks to get out of many of the MIcrosoft parking garage due to a huge dump of snow on the exit ramps. Driving home was difficult with 2-4 inches of snow falling in under an hour and needing to squeeze past a slew of abandoned cars on several hills!
So, if you are planning to move to the Pacific North West remember three "necessaties" you should pay serious consideraton to - 4-wheel drive on your car(s), a generator for your home, and air-conditioning for the summer.
